Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the listed coordinates!

This is the 3rd in a series of Walleye fishing themed puzzle caches that I'll be putting out. I've learned alot about catching these elusive creatures and so I thought I'd mix a little of my fishing hobby with my caching hobby. The puzzles will not be real easy but, they'll all share a common solve theme -- figure out what the picture is, match up, and or do a little math. Similar to puzzle solving/caching, when chasing the Sander Vitreus, you have to figure things out on the fly and do a lot of ciphering especially when fishing in tournaments. Once you've figured the puzzle out you can set the hook, reel the cache in, net it, take a picture, and then set it free for others to find.

The Topic: Bait

Generally speaking Live Bait will outfish Artificial Bait but, there are certain scenarios and bodies of water that reverse that theory and are more productive with the synthetic style presentation. Due to the invasive fish species in the world many tournaments and lakes are strictly artificial to help slow the spread of the unwanted variety.  Thread a crawler on a jig and vertically jig it or drag it along the bottom, nose hook a leech on a wide gap hook and drift over rocky structure, tail hook a minnow on a three way rig and find some current to work the set up and lure those trophy fish in.  Artificials will work the same in most cases and will actually last longer as the material is 'tougher' than the real deal.

The Puzzle:

Figure out the name of each bait pictured and count the letters of the name to solve for the letter variable associated with each.

Here's the list of bait names to help you out. They are in no particular order and not all of them are used - Good Luck!
