Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden near The Chair of Destiny. It is a micro hidden at roughly eye level, out of sight of any nearby overlooking properties.

The Chair of Destiny is a sculpture of a Chieftain's Chair and was placed here on the 400th anniversary of The Battle of Kinsale. The chair was crafted by the sculptor Ken Thompson and is made from stones from all four Irish provinces. The empty chair is a symbol of loss as it is located at the location where Ireland lost its sovereignty here on 3rd January 1602.

It also represents the empty chairs in Irish homes as a result of the famine and emigration. It now also represents the Irish Sovereignty regained.

Be careful when seeking for the cache - there is a short but steep drop to a small brook near to the cache location. You're looking for a suspended bison tube.
