Spotted this beacon as we paddled along the canoe trail and since the island here doesn't appear to have been flooded for a long time I decided that the location was worthy of a cache that was big enough to take small trackables and other items. Cache contains a log and a pencil.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Lois Larson of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
