The Headingley Grand Trunk Trail stretches 10 km from the Perimeter Highway to Beaudry Park. The trail runs along an abandoned railway line used by the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway which was active from 1894 to 1972. There are a variety of habitats along the trail including one of the few intact river bottom forests in Manitoba and a small stand of tall grass prairie.
This is a micro cache and is located at the beginning of the trail and marks the start of a new series along its length.
