It's time for the SEVENTH installation of the Croc event. As usual we host it the last weekend of July and, as usual, we're already praying to the weather gods to be good to us!
The plan is that we meet up on Friday the 24th for a meet-n-greet around 5 pm (17:00). This gives us a chance to take care of the chilling part of the event. We'll fire up the grills and just kick back, relax, get to know each other and get ready for the following day's activities. Alcohol is allowed, but it IS a family event, so don't overdo it ;) There is also hope to release a night cache for Friday Night!
The next morning we'll meet up at 9 am (09:00) and then we'll release the caches to the FTF-hounds. After that it's caching time until about 5 pm (17:00) where we meet back up and share stories and do some more grilling and enjoy the evening. The caches will NOT be released to the general public until after 5:00 pm (kl 17)
Family Mousekakat stays at the event base on Saturday, so older kids (old enough to keep a bit of an eye on themselves and not need diapers changed, lol) are welcome to stay and play and swim with our kids if they don't want to cache! Bikes and pets are welcome, there are horseback riding stables in the area that you can visit, and a large number of caches available, in addition to the event caches. Our kids are 15, 9, and one turns 6 on the Saturday of the event :) Sunday we'll be at the event location until 12:00 or so. Nothing says we have to go home at noon, but we can't guarantee anyone will still be there after then :)
There is space for RVs/campers, but no running water or electricity, and also a tent area. There are toilets, changing rooms, and swimming available. We also live about 1 km away and our yard is open for tents and RVs/campers. There are also other living accommodations and stores in the area so boarding and food are no problem :-). **We have a cabin available for free to the first family that reserves it, it has a 160 bed and a 160 inflatable mattress in it and a kitchen, We would prefer that a family or group have access to it first before just a single person** If you need more information about places to stay in the area, please contact us for that info.
This year we are going to try to do Whereigo cache in addition to the regular caches and we are attempting to have at least one cache that has a higher D/T rating!

Det är nu dags för det sjunde CCCC eventet som (som vanligt) går av stapeln i slutet av juli. Vi har beställt bra väder och hoppas på en leverans av detta :-)
Ett event som sträcker sig från fredag eftermiddag och framtill söndag morgon. Det är upp till varr och en hur länge man stannar. Tillsammans med några fler lokala förmågor så kommer vi försöka ge er ett antal olika burkar med skilda svårighetsgrad och typ. Vi börjar på fredagen den 24:e med grillning, på lördagen släpper vi sedan cacherna till de närvarande och söndagen brukar innebära lite mer grupp-loggande.
Vi kör alltså igång på fredagen och vi siktar på att vara på plats och dra igång grillen runt 17.00. Sedan ägnar vi kvällen åt att käka gott och snacka caching och annat skoj och laddar upp inför lördagen.
Lördag morgon klockan 09.00 släpper vi cacherna till de som är på plats (de kommers släppas officiellt senare under dagen) så det kommer garanterat finnas en hel del ftf-chanser att springa på. Vi återsamlas vid eventplatsen runt 17.00 för ännu mer grillande och förhoppningsvis historier om ftf-jakter, galna upptåg och det kanonfina vädret. Vi får se hur länge vi håller oss vakna på kvällen. Några av oss kommer säkerligen vara laddade för lite mer letande på söndagen så några timmars sömn blir det väl iaf.
Någon från Mousekakat kommer finnas på plats på eventplatsen under hela lördagen och även söndag förmiddag så vill/behöver man ansluta lite senare så är det helt ok.
Det finns möjlighet att parkera husvagn/husbil i mån av plats och även att slå upp tält. Vi har även en stuga på vår tomt som kan användas och vår gräsmatta kan också användas som camping. Om ni har några funderingar kring boende eller liknande så hör av er så försöker vi lösa det :-)
