The 16-acre Pleasant Hills Arboretum, donated to the community by A.W. Robertson and his wife, Alice, sixty years ago, contributes much to the quality of life of all who live here. This beautiful natural area, situated between Oakcrest Lane and West Bruceton Road, is open to the public as a place for exercise, enjoyment, education, and relaxation from sunrise to sunset, all year round.
With its 200-year-old oak trees, the Arboretum has a long history of protection from the axe and plow, and the non-profit Pleasant Hills Arboretum Corporation exists to ensure its protection for generations to come.
