When we first visited Merrill, the old feed mill caught our attention. While it isn't in great condition, it still has an evocoative, stark beauty that draws you to it.
Unfortunately, it also has a lot of trash.
We try to practice CITO whenever possible, and love refurbishing what we find into caches. This is what was done here.
Not sure what this was when it was new, so we just called it a thingamajig.
There is plenty of scrap and garbage material in this general area. The thingamajig really doesn't fit in with the rest.
