A short easy walk to a cache beside Erina creek (also can be accessed by boat)
This cache has been placed in memory of my friend who passed away 1-9-2002 (fathers day). The location is a place where we spent many days , riding up and down the creek in his tinny. The cache title refers to "Ventura highway" by the band America as one line from that song always reminds me of my friend "and the free wind is blowing through your hair". It brings a memory to mind of a sunny afternoon flying up the creek in the tinny while peter steered with the wind whipping through his hair. The cache itself won't be a hard find. (See hint) its a jar with swag, a pencil and a log book inside. The path in is over grown but not terribly so, access on foot only (or boat) (metal pole keeps traffic out) Today the birds were singing away and it is a little wet (not a cache to do straight after heavy rain). The creek itself is brown but peaceful. There's a bit of litter here and there but I intend to come back and maintain the surrounds. Fine for kids. *congrats mumma kel FTF :-)
