BORGIO
Il comune di Borgio Verezzi è situato in prossimità della fascia costiera tra i centri di Finale Ligure, ad est, e Pietra Ligure ad ovest. La frazione di Borgio, sul mare, rimane quella più immediatamente visitabile.
L'attività economica del territorio borgese e verezzino si basa principalmente sul turismo vacanziero, specie nella stagione estiva, e sull'attività legata all'escursionismo.
IL FESTIVAL TEATRALE
Il Festival Teatrale di Borgio Verezzi venne fondato da Enrico Rembado e Maria Valentinotti Rossi nel 1967, come iniziativa turistica a livello locale che prese, col tempo, prestigio fino ad affermarsi nell'ambito dei festival a livello nazionale.
Il Festival si svolge da sempre nel periodo estivo nel borgo antico di Verezzi, principalmente nei mesi di luglio/agosto, mettendo in scena i classici per eccellenza (tra cui Goldoni, Shakespeare, Pirandello); in seguito si è deciso di proporre un tema conduttore per affiancare ai classici anche spettacoli contemporanei o inusuali.
LE GROTTE DI BORGIO VEREZZI
Le grotte Valdemino sono un complesso di cavità carsiche ubicate a Borgio.
Classico esempio di fenomeno carsico, la cui struttura è stata generata nel tempo dalla lenta erosione dell'acqua attraverso la roccia, vennero scoperte casualmente nel 1933 da tre ragazzini di Borgio (Lillo, Tito e Valentino), che scoprirono le grotte entrando nella prima sala.

THE THEATRE FESTIVAL
The Theatre Festival of Borgio Verezzi was founded by Enrico Rembado and Maria Valentinotti Rossi in 1967, as local tourism initiative that, over time, establish as part of the prestigious festivals nationwide.
The festival always takes place in the summer in the ancient village of Verezzi, mainly in the months of July / August, staging classics (including Goldoni, Shakespeare, Pirandello); later it was decided to propose also contemporary or unusual shows to complement the classics.
BORGIO VEREZZI CAVES
Valdemino caves are a complex of karst caves located in Borgio.
Classic example of karst phenomenon, the structure of which was generated over time by the slow erosion of the water through the rock, it was discovered by chance in 1933 by three boys of Borgio (Lillo, Tito and Valentino), who discovered the caves entering the first room .
