This cache is part of the 2015 Mount Vernon Parks Geocoin event.
The Skagit Riverwalk is part of the revitalization of the Downtown Mount Vernon river front. The plaza will be home to the Skagit Farmers Market, Tulip Festival Street Fair, as well as other planned events. The walk itself is an extension of the expansive Mount Vernon Trail system. Future plans include expanding the walk further south along the river. This is also a high muggle area. A bit of stealth may be required. No need to go over or around the railing.
