Geocache Description:

This is one of a planned mini-series and an addition to the many caches around  East Leake and surrounding area, hopefully linking up a couple of the existing caches along the walking routes you would take anyway!.

This one is between Costock and East Leake. Please consider walking the route, not just a drive by! Parking in Costock tends to be along the road so please be considerate. Also note the speed limit on this road between the villages is 40mph – please respect this. This cache is found halfway between the two villages and links up the caches from one village to the other. It is attached to the location with a strong magnet. Please keep your mobile phone out of the way and if you have a pacemaker, ask someone with you to take the box from the camo bag. The cache is in a camo bag containing a small box with a log book, pencil and pieces of paper. Please feel free to sit and read the contents out loud –especially to children! If the pieces of paper are missing or deteriorating, please message me so I have chance to replace.

Alice Link - In Chapter I ‘Looking Glass House’ of Lewis Carroll’s ‘Through the Looking Glass’, Alice finds a nonsense poem which she can only read in a mirror. It is about a fiercesome creature and she spends the rest of the book trying to fathom the meaning of the poem – Can you?
