Op bovenstaand coördinaat bevindt zich luisterplek 160 welke een punt is in de Liberation Route Europe.

De Liberation Route volgt het pad dat de geallieerden bewandelden tijdens de bevrijding van Europa. De route begint bij Normandië en loopt via Noord-Brabant, Nijmegen, Arnhem en de Zuid-Veluwe richting Berlijn. Deze gebieden speelden aan het einde van de Tweede Wereldoorlog een hoofdrol op het wereldtoneel.
De Liberation Route laat je beleven wat zich in 1944 en 1945 afspeelde in Noord-Brabant, rondom Arnhem en Nijmegen en op de Veluwe. Op ruim 80 locaties in de wijde omgeving liggen veldkeien, de zogenoemde luisterplekken. Op iedere luisterplek is een hoorspel te beluisteren over de indrukwekkende belevenissen van een of meerdere personen in de jaren 1944-1945.

Het pak van Achtmaal
Achtmaal wordt op 27 oktober 1944 bevrijd door de Amerikaanse 104e Infanterie Divisie, bijgenaamd de Timberwolves. De soldaten van deze divisie maken hun eerste gevecht mee en ervaren hoe sluw de Duitsers opereren. In Achtmaal krijgt de commandant een bijzonder pakket in handen.

De coördinaten boven aan deze listing zijn van deze luisterplek waar je alle wetenswaardigheden over de bevrijding van Achtmaal kunt lezen maar ook horen.
Om de cache te kunnen vinden, dien je eerst deze 2-traps multi op te lossen.

At the coordinates above, you will not find a geocache, but you will find audio spot 160 , which is part in the Liberation Route Europe.
The Liberation Route Europe follows the path of the allied forced, during the liberation of Europe. The path goes from Normandy, through Noord-Brabant, Nijmegen, Arnhem and the south-Veluwe all the way to Berlin. These regions played a title role at the end of WO II at a world stage. The Liberation Route Europe makes you relive what happened between 1944 and 1945 in Noord-Brabant, around Arnhem, Nijmegen and at the Veluwe. At more than 80 places, there are huge stones, so called audio spots. At these audiospots you can listen to a radio play about the impressive adventures of 1 or more persons in the years 1944-1945.

The Achtmaal package

On the 27th of October 1944, Achtmaal is liberated by the US 104th Infantry Division, nicknamed the Timberwolves. The soldiers of this division are fighting for the first time it and experience how cunning the Germans operate. In Achtmaal, the commander is given a special package.

Find the answers to the 8 questions which will lead you to a waypoint where you can find the co-ordinates of the cache. Good luck! Note: If you have to convert to numbers (letter-/word value): A=1, B=2 etc. If necessary: sum again to end up with 1 digit.
