This cache is located at the heart of Grant County and at the center of the City of Lancaster. The Grant County Courthouse was built in 1902 by Amand Koch and was added to the National register of Historic Places in 1978. Located on the courthouse lawn is the Blue Boy Statue, Solider Fountain, the First Civil War Monument, Nelson Dewey Marker. Inside visitors will find G.A.R. and Civil War memorabilia and of course an amazine view of the dome. The courthouse is not open on the weekends, so if you want to see the inside you will need to come M-F from 8-4:30pm.
