Geocache Description:


Lough Tawy is one of the 6 larger lakes which are known collectively as Jenkin Lakes. This is a great place to come for a walk. It's very peaceful and is not used as much as I think it should be. You can park close to Lough Jenkin or walk from a number of locations using the numerous forest trails. This one can be done in conjunction with the caches at Mullaghfad Church (GC4G1ZD) and Cooneen Ghost House (GC3MJTV) as there are trails which run from nearby these caches into Jenkin Lakes. If you are planning to do the series and find the Jenkin Lakes Bonus cache (GC5VAZA), be sure to note the value of C which can be found in the cache.
