This road was well traveled at one time before ferry service was discontinued across the river at Shipps Ferry. My family first moved to this area in the 1930s and although many changes have taken place along the road, the quiet countryside has kept its beauty throughout the passing years.
You may even want to continue two miles past this cache and spend some time staring at the White River as it flows by the public access point or maybe even stick your foot in it to feel that cold water.
You will be looking for a small painted lock & lock container with a log and several items at this "rural" park & grab. Just park along the side of the road in the well worn tracks made by the rural mail carrier---and feel to turn around in the driveway if you wish. The biggest threat of "muggles" here may well be the cattle across the road.
