Geocache Description:

Meet & Greet with Inxtrickablfate, Memomls, Skeletor10 and Magtfplanner visiting from Florida.

Let's give him a warm Houston Welcome!

On a quest to attend 10 events in 10 different States, Jeff (Inxtrickablfate) reached out to me to see if I was willing to host an event in his honor.

Who am I not to do so, and show him the hospitality of us Houston cachers???

Here's a little extract of the story behind the event:

About us, magtfplanner, memomls, and I are flying in from Jacksonville, Florida. Skeletor10 is from near Orlando, Florida. So all 4 of us are Florida residents. magtfplanner and I have been travelling together for 5 years now, mostly during the summer time, and we aim at completing the Delorme and county challenges for at least one state per year. (We have completed Delorme and county challenges in FL, GA, AL, SC, DE, NV, MD. We will be completing NC, VT, RI, and NH this year). memomls joined our crew in 2012 and accompanies us on at least one of our 10 day trips each year. Skeletor joined us in 2013 and also comes along on one trip each year. It isn't easy to get someone to come along for 10 days on the schedules we run lol. We didn't get any takers for Alaska... This particular trip is 3700 miles in 10 days with over 600 targeted caches (we average about 50 a day). We will start in Houston and drive through LA, AR, OK, NM, AZ, CA and back to Houston with a stop in Mexico at El Paso. Not only do we simply drive 'through' the state, we also find a cache in every county and delorme page we pass through (or within reasonable distance from our route); on this trip we will claim over 100 counties (by end of summer we will have more than 1/3 of the US counties completed). While we do end up with a lot of PnGs on these trips (since we have a lot of miles to cover) we also try to target adventure and other quality caches along the way, like the Soda tube trials in Baytown or the UV storm drain cache in OK City.

So let's all gather at the Sam Houston statue from 12:00-1:30pm to say 'Hi', swap stories & trackables.
