Ocean Roar Traditional Cache

This is a regular geocache located in the beautiful Siuslaw National Forest. We accidently found this road several years ago when we looked for a geocache on the upper end. It should be pretty easy to find but the GPS coverage can be difficult at times.

This geocache contains some great geoswag.

1. Where's George, 2. FTF compass Rose coin, 3. FTF Signal Geocoin, 4. Duck TB, 5. FTF Plasic Gold Cup, a large army man, 2 cars, Maggie Simpson, Crazy Maze Labyrinthe puzzle, Disney Figure, a red dragon, 1 - large rubber ball, 1 - small rubber ball, baseball magic towel, 16 - marbles, Log Book for recording your find and a pen.

This is a beautiful drive with a chance to see some wildlife. There are many roads in this area and choosing the right one is difficult at times. You can spend a lot of time backtracking. I suggest a map of the Siuslaw National Forest. The GPS coverage can be spotty but we have tried to pick areas with adequate coverage. The road the cache is on ends at FS 5800 Road which runs from just south of Sea Lion Caves to Hwy. 34 between Walport and Alsea. There are all kinds of geocaches out here and you can spend several days looking for all of them. There are some spectacular views up this road.
