A more challenging cache along the CNVT. By now your legs are probably getting weary and rubbery. Jumping over the water in the ditch and climbing the hill could pose a challenge. Good luck, be safe and have fun!

The Cedar Valley Nature Trail is a 52-mile rails-to-trail that connects the metro areas of Waterloo and Cedar Rapids. 20 miles of the trail is paved (16 mi to the N and 4 to the S) and the remainder is packed limestone chip. The grade doesn't exceed 2% so the trail is easy enough for all abilities. The trail transverses forested areas, stream valleys, small towns, wetlands, and rolling farmlands.
