Many days were spent playing in this part of the Ewnni fach, catching bullyehads and tiddlers, using car bonnets as a raft and seeing how many we could fit on it before it sunk - though it was much deeper and wider back then. Also a little from the bridge you'd mange to tickle a trout or two if you were lucky. We'd sit on the banks having picnics, whilst our wellies dried where we'd gone in too deep!
The area now doesn't seem to resemble that ideal at all these days which is such a shame as if anything the 'Black Path' as its known locally is used more now due to the placing of the new railway station.
The cache is placed a little off the main path, it can be a bit muddy so please take care.
**** well done to Sniffadogz for ftf ****
