Geocache Description:

On this spot Asa Cyrus Call in 1854 erected the first dwelling on what he intended to be the town site of Algona.  Here he brought his wife Sarah Heckart Call on November 1, 1884, the first white woman in Kossuth County and who gave the town its name.  Here their seven children were born of whom the survivors in loving memory erected this memorial.
