Geocache Description:

Updated after new cache replaced a lost one. Starting from the public park parking lot, briefly follow the paved trail between the playground and the treeline. Take the opening just a few feet beyond the geocache and follow the dirt trail. Be sure to watch out for thorns as the girls made sure this one is now heavily guarded.

This cache was hidden by Girl Scout Troop 397 with permission from the county parks department as part of our Bronze Award service project.  The caches and letterboxes we hid follow an educational theme of endangered species.  This cache includes information about the black-cheeked lovebird.
