Bairinji outer garden There was Umebayashi at the place, so Bairinji wasn't called Bairinji. zuigentera (ZUIGANJI) where a barrier was in territory Tanba Sasayama of Arima family when Mr. Yutaka Arima who accomplished success by a war in a field gave land in Kurume to publicity, iken, the name was made "Bairinji" for a posthumous Buddhist name of chichinoriraikou "Umebayashi Inden". Many ascetic monks are learned about as a severe study school, and gather from the whole country, I was Bairinji, but one corner along Chikugo-gawa was opened as the park where citizen's people gather as a part of commemoration business of the Hirakiyama chief bonze umongenkyuu reverend (would, gate omen sudden ZEN JI) 350 year posthumous name in 1958. Your kindness was received from many people including a founder of Bridgestone and Mr. Shojiro Ishibashi, but I hear that a plum tree in the present outer garden also received kenki from the garden front in a private house in the city then. I receive 50th anniversary of outer garden establishment into Bairinji Hirakiyama chief bonze 400 year posthumous name later in 2008, wish that increasingly many people visit this place and don't suffer.
