We were out geocaching and camping in the area and found a cache at this location. However, when we returned home to log it, the cache no longer appeared on the map. Guess it was disabled? Since people had not found the cache in a while and it seemed to be gone, we left a container and log for the next cachers while we were there. Now I guess we will just claim this location and cache as "ours". There was a snake guardin' the cache location/GZ. Good that it was a gopher snake and not a rattler .! Always a good idea to keep your eyes open while geocaching in the desert--or anywhere I guess. Cache On, and as always, HAVE FUN!
Should be an easy find. The "hike" to it is really just a short walk across typical desert terrain. A pair of gloves is always a good thing to have also.
