The embankment here is made of seaweed and probably dates back to the Middle Ages. They served to keep cattle from entering cultivated fields and also provided shelter from winds that carry drifting sand.
Vällen här är gjord av tång och förmodligen bygdes på medeltiden.Syftet med tångvallarna var att hålla boskap från att komma in odlade fält och även skydd mot vindar som bär drivande sand.
