Geocache Description:

Named after one of the best Beatle songs that John Lennon wrote.

Strawberry Lake is a 3.25 mile hike from the trailhead. The trailhead is 4,104 ft above sea level and the lake is at 5,587 ft, although the trail will peak out at around 5,629 ft. You will climb to an elevation change of 1,525 ft in about 1.8 miles, so beware of some uphill climbs. After that there is smooth sailing to the lake.

After such a hike, we don't like leaving hard finds, and this one is no exception. This is a VERY easy find for an experienced cacher and you do not need to tear anything up... in fact, you don't even need to leave the trail.

Please watch for muggles that may be enjoying the area, and put the cache back as you found it. There are some trinkets for trade, but no writing stick. If you get all the way up here and realise you forgot to bring something to write with, just take a picture of the log... that works for us as well.

Congratulations to 1sandman on your FTF!
