Geocache Description:


Click here for Manchester hiking trail information. CCCs' Night Out will be held outdoors this month at Nevers Park in South Windsor. As with the previous outdoor get togethers, this one will also be BYOPD (Bring your own Picnic Dinner). There is a covered pavilion so we can meet come rain or shine. The event will begin on Tuesday, June 9th at 5:30 pm and end at 8:30 pm.

Come early and enjoy the park's caches and other amenities. A wide, stone-dust path takes you past the Bark Park, through the woods and by athletic fields. Look for ponds, a stream and vernal pools as you make your way to the cache. If you have younger children, visit the Boundless Playground. The playground is designed to allow children and adults of all abilities to “come together and experience the wonder of play in a safe, barrier-free environment.”

The Central Connecticut Cacher's Nite Out is an evening gathering on the second Tuesday of every month (well, most months anyway). Mark your calendars now! Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend...you don't have to reside in CT, and you certainly don't have to be an experienced cacher... new folks are most welcome! Let us know if this is your first event as we'd like to get acquainted.

This event features new or rotating hosts every month, and changing locations. If you have an interest in hosting, please contact Katydid & Miles Stone. As host, you'll select a location; get the coordinates; and copy and paste the event page and resubmit. There are a number of places in the Greater Hartford area to enjoy good food and drinks. Locations should be kid friendly, have no admission fee and be within the Central Connecticut/Greater Hartford area. Cachers from outside of the area are also encouraged to host, but we do ask that the event itself be held in the central CT area.
