Craufurdland Estate on the outskirts of Kilmarnock and Fenwick is host to a number of outdoor pursuits, including fishing, mountain biking, archery, walking and the infamous Muddy Trials. It can now also boast Geocaching!
This series of caches will take you through the estate. All of the caches are within 30 meters or so of the paths, however sturdy boots or wellies are recommended. There is something for everyone. There is no need to jump over any fences during this series.
Although this cache would technically be the first one as you enter DO NOT PARK OPPOSITE THE HOUSE. PARK AT THE CAFE.
As you wander down to the cache if you look ahead you will see various aspects of an assault course. You are nearly at The Web, but not quite. It looks quite daunting to say the least.
When you are finished feel free to pop into the cafe for a well deserved break from whatever the Scottish climate has thrown at you!
