While performing maintenance on my, now archived, Back Creek Nature Park mystery cache, I stumbled upon this unpublished cache hidden just a few feet away while looking for my muggled cache container. Understandable, since the final coordinates of my mystery cache were not readily available in the cache listing. I figured that the CO had placed the container prior to publishing it, only to discover that it was under the minimum proximity. Even though this unpublished cache had been sitting there for five months already, I left it there for the time being to let the CO come collect it, while my cache was disabled and I worked on a new container.
Six months later, when I finally got around to re-enabling my cache (I know, I know), I picked up this unpublished cache and took it with me so as to avoid confusion, figuring eleven months was plenty of time for the CO to reclaim it. This ready-made cache has been rolling around in the back of my car ever since. Today I finally got around to doing something about it. This is by no means a Spotted Dog cache, more like a spotted fever cache. Keep your spouse happy, leave the kids and dogs at home (actually at home, not waiting in the car). Lots of good stuff for FTF (thanks Justin).
