Abernathy's mill

Pinkney "Pink" Abernathy and his son Kenneth arrived at Redpass in the summer of 1950. Shortly after they started the mill at Swift Current creek where they were joined by Elisabeth Abernathy in the fall. Pinkney operated the mill until 1960, he died in 1961. The only visable thing left of the old mill site is a large pile of sawdust.
