Whereas the Space Coast Geocaching Association received a resolution acknowledging their efforts over the last 8 years cleaning up Brevard County Parks.
We would like to invite everyone to join us on Saturday afternoon in the room behind the pavilion at Kiwanis Island to celebrate this awesome honor. The Space Coast Geocachers were awarded this resolution (award) on May 26th at the Brevard County Commissioners meeting. All of the commissioners were there including the head of the Parks Department. This is something each and every one of us should be proud of.
After our last CITO marathon event on International CITO weekend the Parks department contacted us and told us they would like to recognize our efforts at the next board meeting. We would like to share this moment with each and every one of you that has been a part of this great organization. So make plans to attend and share this moment with us. The event will be held indoors so you wont have to worry about the weather.
Event starts at 4:00 pm and goes until 6:00 pm
It will be a simple meet and greet where we will show everyone what we received as well as a possible short presentation.
Feel free to bring trackables to trade or any other signature items you might want to trade. We would like to see as many people as possible attend this event….this is all about you.
