Mt Peace Cemetery is one of the oldest cemeteries in Akron – established in 1880. It sits along a ravine that drops into the Little Cuyahoga River valley to the east.
Dr. Robert Holbrook Smith’s, Dr. Bob (founder of Alcoholic’s Anonymous), grave is here as are Titanic survivors Addie Wells and her two children. There are some other notable Akronites buried here. Check the cache to the north – Garden of Angels for more info.
