Cache #8 on The Gizmo Trail is for Jabba. We rescued this guy from the SPCA along with another cat called Scooter (Cache #10). Jabba looked so dopey we loved him immediately and because we thought his eyes were too close together we started calling him Jabba Shaq!
When we first brought him home it was a bit of an adjustment period. Since he was used to being outside he roamed the house at night meowing and crying. It was VERY annoying. We could tell his previous owner must have smacked him a lot because every time we reached out to pet him he would flinch. Well I am happy to say Jabba has settled right in to our home and no longer flinches but rather has become quite the cuddly cat. He loves to snuggle under the covers and get his belly rubbed. Jabba has one of the most unique purrs I've ever heard (It's very nasal) and he actually snorts a lot. He's so precious! He has found a home in our hearts!
He is affectionately known in our house as Jabba the Hutt
