Have you ever wondered what kind of snakes are lurking in the Las Vegas and surrounding areas? Well this series will show you who's who in snakes. Most all snakes are elusive creatures and will stay hid or flee when disturbed. Some will stand their ground if they feel threatened so anytime you see a snake keep at least a four foot distance or more away.
I have been caching for close to four years now and have yet to see a snake. I have heard of very few cases where someone has come across one while caching, but they are out there. These caches will show you the variety of snakes that live in this desert environment, some a little scary looking but all have their own beauty. I hope you enjoy this series. Have fun and remember to bring water and a snack and keep an eye out for the usual pokey things and critters.
