Geocache Description:

HERCULES had 10 labors and keeping The Hero’s Path up and running seems to be my own SYSIPHEAN task. It is as if NEMESIS herself is following me and undoing all my work. Every few weeks the TITANS are unleashed and once again I walk my own path to restore order from CHAOS. Thus, follow this journey knowing that ORDER balances on the head of pin. This cache is step four of our Hero's Path series dedicated Greek myths and monsters.

A short slope awaits. Some reaching and stretching required. The story of this hero's quest is the Hydra which was a multi-headed monster killed by Hercules. His challenge was that as he would cut off one head, two new ones would grow in its place. The hiding place is very like the Hydra itself. Be sure to gaze upward and see what we mean. Ultimately, Hercules found that by clubbing off each head ( the club was his trademark) and then burning the neck with a torch, no more heads would appear. Enjoy this find.
