So ... in honor of the grand 'ole Man in the Moon I have hidden a series of caches that I have called The Many Moons. A new Full Moon cache has been hidden for the last twelve months near the time of each month's full moon. Each cache has carried the Native American name of the full moon for the month that the cache was hidden.
The 12th hide of the Many Moon series is June ... The Strawberry Moon. The Algonquin tribes knew this moon as the time of the year to gather ripening strawberries. You're looking for The Man in the Moon ... a small cache with room for a log only. There's ample parking nearby and a bit of a climb required to make the find. Rattlesnakes could be lurking about depending on the heat of the day. This hide marks the end of the Many Moons series.
