This is an all day geocaching adventure. You will need a 4 wheel drive vehicle, food and water, appropriate clothing and footware and above all good weather! (Seriously, do not attempt this cache if it has been raining heavily, if there is heavy rain in the forecast or if there is any kind of flash flood watch. Flash flooding can occur any time of year on Kauai)
Start in Kokee State park and take an unamarked dirt road called Mohihi Road. Conditions on this road vary a lot and it is sometimes impassable even in a four wheel drive. Go all the way to the end to the Mohihi-Waialae Trailhead. You will find another cache (named Spur of the Moment) near the trailhead. If the weather is still good, start hiking. After four miles you will cross a stream and see a small shack. The cache is near the shack.
There is no cell phone reception in this area.
The cache is a camouflaged 16 ounce plastic container. There is a pineapple golf marker for the first to find.
