Geocache Description:

I asked for a GPS for Christmas back in 2007 because I wanted to map the trails in Iroquois Park. While looking at what else I could do with this new-fangled device I ran across Geocaching and soon realized there were several caches in the park with one being near the end of my street. So off I went on my big adventure looking for "Happy Bushwhacking Trails" cache on a cold snowy day after Christmas. I searched for a while leaving footprints everywhere in the snow and then realized there was a thing called a hint. The hint saved the day as the cache turned out to be a small distance from where I thought it should be. When I opened the cache to sign the log I was hooked and have enjoyed caching ever since. By the way I still have not mapped the trails in Iroquois Park.

When Happy Bushwhacking Trails (GCGEQJ) recently came up for possible archiving, I tried to contact the CO to adopt the cache but with no luck. So the next best thing was to hide a new cache to honor my first find.

You are looking for a camouflaged lock & lock hidden about 100 feet off the horse trail that circles the park, and very close to where the original cache was hidden back in 2003.

Happy Bushwhacking Trails to you until we meet again.
Happy Bushwhacking Trails to you keep smilin' until then.
