Buckner (a.k.a. Stout, a.k.a. Cumberland) Cemetery is located in the SW1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 4 in Eldora Township, Hardin County, Iowa. This cemetery was established in 1852.

On Sept. 8, 1852, Mr. F B STOUT deeded two and one-half acres of land in section 3 of Eldora Township to the Trustees of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Pine Creek. Once called the Stout Cemetery and sometimes referred to locally as Cumberland Cemetery. The name was changed in memory of  Edward C. BUCKNER, the first man from Hardin Co. killed in the Civil War, died February 13, 1862, and a marker was erected in his memory.

March 21, 1999, of the 125 stones observed in 1974, seventeen are now gone. One new grave was added to the HENDERSON plot- Esther LANE d. 1976, this has been the last burial here to date.  This cemetery is fenced and well maintained. It is a Hardin County Pioneer Cemetey.
