Isle Royale County is a U.S. National Park on Isle Royale and adjacent islands in Lake Superior, in the state of Michigan. Isle Royale County was set off on April 3, 1940; designated as a National Wilderness Area in 1976; and made an International Biosphere Reserve and formally organized in 1980. The county covers 894 square miles (2,320 km2), with 209 square miles (540 km2) above water. At the U.S.-Canada border, it meets the borders of the future Canadian Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area. The population was 0 based off the 2010 census.

To find the geocache, you must follow these instructions:
1. Read through the description of Isle Royale County.
2. Let A = the day in April the county was set off plus 3. Let B = First digit of the year the county was formally organized plus 1. Let C = the second digit of the year it was designated as a National Wilderness Area. Let D = the total population from the last census. Let E = the last digit of the number of square miles the county covers.
3. Travel at a bearing of 136.08 degrees for ABCDE feet.
4. You will find what you are looking for at the base of a tree very near the path.
