This cache is hidden on property that is now Tweeds Tavern Park and HAC (Hockessin Athletic Club), however in the not too distant past this area was part of a large mushroom farm.
In 2002 Tweeds Tavern had not yet been relocated to this area and this location was a mushroom farm.
Park in any of the Tweeds Tavern Park parking areas and take any of the numerous walking trails to the cache location.
One tiny area of Delaware and Pennsylvania, that surrounds Kennett Square PA, grows half of all the mushrooms produced in the United States, it is known as the "Mushroom Capital of the World" for a good reason. Mushroom farming started here over 100 years ago and has grown into a multimillion dollar business. You can still find many mushrooms and mushroom farms in this area if you look.
If you like to hunt for wild mushrooms or if you grow them you will find the FTF prize inside this cache particularly useful. I have placed a super bright blue aluminum LED flashlight inside it along with some other nice swag. Please trade fairly.
