Magic Posies Mystery Cache

This cache is a sequel to Magic Poppy (GC1BA84) and Magic Poppy 2 (GC2HYE9).  Unlike its two predecessors, this one does not call upon magic properties, but more asks “what’s in a name.”  Identify the two-word common name for the gorgeous posies pictured below that have just magically appeared in our garden.

NOTE May 27, 2021 – Due to archiving of the cache previously needed to complete this puzzle, the description below has been changed.  The cache, however, remains in its original location.

Identify the region of the world which one of these two words calls to mind.  Identify the name of a virtual cache near that region – one that contains the name of the region.   Determine the digital root (ie.  sum and re-sum digits until you get a single digit) of the position in the alphabet of the 3^rd, 5^th, 6^th and 12^th letters of the cache’s name, and call them A, B, C and D respectively.

Identify the last name of a famous person whose first name is the other word in the name of these posies.  Determine the digital roots of the alphanumeric values of the first four letters of this person's last name and call them E, F, G and H.
