An important Lowbanks historical site.
Site has been a community hub since 1866, when one of the first brick schoolhouses in the area was built here, replacing a log building a little further up the road. It functioned for 94 years, when it was replaced by a new two room school in 1960 which closed in 1969. Imagine trying to concentrate on your schoolwork on a sunny afternoon with a view like this!
