[RO] Scoala cu clasele I-VIII Nr. 1 Sibiu este situata in cartierul Strand din municipiul Sibiu. Cartierul a fost construit in perioada 1960-1984 in partea de vest a orasului. Mare parte din apartamentele construite au fost de la inceput proprietate personala, ceea ce a determinat si structura populatiei: intelectuali, functionari, muncitori cu venituri bune, in special din industrie, constructii si telecomunicatii.
