The cache is located in a feldspar formation that rises out of surrounding meadows. It is located along the Mickelson Trail between Carroll Creek Road and the White Elephant trailhead. You can park at the junction with Carroll Creek road and the trail in the wide flat area, which is obviously a parking area for many people.
