I drive this road on occasion (during periods of okay-for-golfing weather) and was curious once to pull over and walk into the open gate to the big quarry below, and found quite an interesting view. Which – to be clear – I’m NOT suggesting anyone else do; stern warnings posted all around.
Then I spotted a few bee-keeper boxes (apiaries?) back in the woods not far away …
And was considering the magnitude of contrasts in human & natural-world activities out here, not far from suburban neighborhoods.
Add in a collection of those large boulders, which we see all around us and I always find interesting, and I decided this might be a good site for my second geocache placement.
Ground zero is not far off the road, and easily accessible. Not necessary to approach too closely either the bees or the quarry.
-->Congratulations to "LCSM" for being the first-to-find. Very promptly, too, I might add.
