It just so happened that while driving up Forest Road #38, WAM reached into the backseat, and unbeknownst to Jimmerbowl, pulled out a new empty two-part plastic lock-n-lock container. We both said almost in unison, "why don't we use this for a cache now?" WAM also had with him an assortment of trinkets, pencil, and a log book, which we had to modify slightly to fit in one of the container's compartments.
We continued driving along the road all the way to the Ridley Creek Trailhead, looking for the best area for a 'hide'. We agreed that a rock wall that we had seen down the road a ways would be the best place.
This cache has been placed 40 feet upslope from the road, about fifteen vertical above it, behind a rock at the base of the wall. Spoiler pics will be posted. Don't rely too heavily on using your GPS, for rock walls have a way to mess up readings. Watch your footing when ascending and descending from the cache location.
There is no need to climb the rock wall. There is limited but sufficient room to pull your vehicle off the road near the cache. Please, don't block the road for other passerby's
