Song Title Series #15 is "Grazing in the Grass", written by Philemon Hou and first recorded by South African trumpeter Hugh Masekela. Released in the United States as a single in 1968, it reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Several versions have been recorded such as Friends of Distinction, Raven-Symone from Disney's Lion King 1-1/2; hip-hop version by the duo, Nice & Smooth; even a jazzier version by jazz saxophonist George Howard did an upbeat version of Grazin' in the Grass. I prefer the instrumental, but the Friends of Distinction do a very nice job also. Listen to them and let me know which is your favorite.
These ranches along Old Hwy 431 are beautiful with cows and horses grazing in the pastures. Just before sunset you can get some awesome, soul-searching photos year round.
