This cache is hidden on a beautiful, mostly level trail that parallels the pipeline right of way. The Eastern end of the trail is at N49 09.095 W117 45.026 and the Western end is at N49 09.508 W117 44.706. Walking West the trail has only one short uphill section. It's an easy stroll once you're at the right of way.
There are numerous ways of getting to the pipeline. Probably the 'easiest' route -- because a single trail can be followed the whole way -- is to take the trail up to Dead Cinch, walk past Dead Burnt, and follow the trail out to the pipeline. Of course that first hill is a big challenge.
If you take that route, cross the pipeline and you'll see the trail continues into the forest. This is the Eastern end of the trail the cache is hidden on.
