ITA: Il Porto di Cagliari è al centro del mar Mediterraneo, posizione che gli vale il ruolo di snodo commerciale e strategico fondamentale da oltre 2.500 anni. Il porto è situato nel Golfo di Cagliari, delimitato da Capo Carbonara e da Capo Pula. Il Porto Storico si sviluppa su 5.800 metri di banchina e serve traffico commerciale, Ro-Ro, navi passeggeri, diportismo, pesca e crocierismo. Completamente artificiale, è delimitato da due opere foranee esterne, il Nuovo Molo di Ponente e il Nuovo Molo di Levante, e da un’opera interna, ormai demolita, il Vecchio Molo di Levante; opere che suddividono il porto commerciale in tre distinti bacini:
1) bacino di Ponente, compreso fra il Molo Sabaudo e il Nuovo Molo di Ponente;
2) porto interno, delimitato dal Vecchio Molo di Levante e dal Molo Sabaudo;
3) bacino di Levante, compreso fra il Nuovo Molo di Levante e il Vecchio Molo di Levante;
Il vecchio farò si trova vicino al Nuovo Faro di Ponente, tutt'ora in uso.
La cache è nascosta vicino al faro. Il recupero richiede la massima attenzione per via di possibili mugglers pescatori nelle vicinanze.
ENG: The Port of Cagliari is situated in the center of the Mediterranean Sea, and this gave it the role of strategic and commercial hub for over 2,500 years. The port is located in the Gulf of Cagliari, bordered by Capo Carbonara and Capo Pula. The Port is spread over 5,800 meters of quay and serves commercial traffic, Ro-Ro, passenger ships, yachting, fishing and cruise ships. Completely artificial, is bordered by two outer offshore works, the New West Pier and the New East Pier, and an internal one, by now demolished, the Old East Pier. This ones divide the commercial port into three distinct basins:
1) basin to the west, between the Pier and the New Savoy New West Pier;
2) the inner harbor, bordered by Old East Pier and Pier Savoy;
3) the Levantine basin, between the New New East Pier and the Old East Pier.
The Old lighthouse is close to one in the West Pire.
The cache is hidden near the lighthouse. It's requires the maximum stealth on because of fishermen mugglers nearby.
