We hiked a nice, long loop through Teague Hill Open Space Preserve today and decided to leave a cache of thanks in one of our favorite OSPs. This cache is hidden just off Trail 7 in the middle of a secluded part of Teague Hill, and the only way to get here is to hoof your way in! We left a good sized cache with a nice initial stash to entice you to visit.
Parking is available at the end of Summit Springs Rd, with a trailhead into the OSP right there. It is about a 1.5-mile hike to the cache from there, but you'll have to come back! There is also parking and a trailhead at Pinto Way for a hike of about 1.3 miles.
It's a bit difficult to get the coordinates just right here, so please don't feel bad about using the hint. Happy caching!
Please note: This cache is a solid 3 terrain rating because of elevation gain (about 800 feet from Pinto Way to GZ) and because Trail 7 has some overgrowth.
